I understand con-trails are formed by the heat of the jet engine combined with the cool atmosphere, and they dissipate quickly.
THESE DO NOT. They spread and spread some more until they seem to join into each other creating a hazy dull sky.

This was the second photo, second layer? What are they spraying? Notice how it seems to look like a con-trail until it starts to spread out becoming wider.

OK, here is the unusual post.
This morning when I went outside to take photos' of my last painting, this is what I saw. I then went inside to download the photo's. The picture of my painting did not come out well, so I went back outside to shoot it again.

Hello again! I took a break during this painting, I forgot to get photo's of the stages! Here is the finished work, hope you like it!
My next post will be somewhat unusual. I have decided I cant help but post it.
See you next time.
I hope to be able to have the time to post on a more regular basis. I may have to post the finished product alone.

I have now added the acrylic's and established the mood of the painting. I love to do the evening paintings with the shadows and lights. See you next time.

Hello again! Here I go with my next painting, Evening Light. Size 20x24. This is the sketch on canvas. Join me again as I add the acrylic under painting. Thanks for stopping by, Becca

More wedding photo's.

The reception. We loved the picture of the happy couple with the gifts. She is so beautiful in her wedding dress, though after the party without shoes the feet are priceless!

A wedding; time for work and fun.

My son had to stay in the closet for an hour or so, while the Bride and her brides maids had their pictures taken. The photo is of my two sons with Roger, Jacobs new father-in-law. It was a beautiful outside wedding. We will all remember it as one of our happiest times.

My youngest and his bride.

I wanted to share a pic of my youngest son and his bride. Jacob and Emily Beal.

And here is the completed painting.
View over the Mediterranean 16x20.

Close up of the trees and houses.

Adding Oils

Here I started adding the oils over the under painting. I start with the sky move to the distance trees, houses and then move to the water.

Between painting, taking photo's, listing, website and blogs (oh, and I don't want to forget family, gardening and cooking, and my youngest son's wedding coming up in Sept) I forgot to take a picture of the start of this painting. As you can see I have already blocked in with my acrylics, establishing the shapes, lights and darks. I will be more mindful and make sure I get pictures from the beginning, for you of the following paintings. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will see regular blogs, time permitting.

warm regards, Rebecca
