Evening in Italy

I have been in the mood to do more night scenes.  Love all the primary colors!  These paintings really come alive as the light outside dims, they will light up the room, like the lights are really on in the painting. Well Life is good as the Fall weather rolls into Ky.  I have been working on some more night scenes.

Italian Seascape

Hi everyone, I am still trying to get everything done, and post regularly.  So many things and only 2 hands! I really enjoyed painting this piece, hope you like it too.

Evening in Bar Harbor

It has been awhile since I have done a night scene, I love working with all the primary colors. This painting was completed with transparent oils, brushes and a palette knife, lots of nice texture. But what is so special is seeing this painting when evening descends, it really comes alive with lights!
