New Paintings with Molded Frames "VENICE"

I have painted a pair of paintings Romantic Venice,and hand molded my own frames, they are wired and ready to hang.  We just love the watery canals and gondoliers of this old romantic place in Italy. I wanted to add value to the art and savings to art lovers by producing some paintings that not only go together in a grouping but are also framed and ready to hang.  If you love Venice or have just vacationed there, you can have a wonderful memory in the richness of oils to enjoy every day.

Romantic France

I still find it hard to juggle all the daily routine with my painting, taking photos, listing, gardening, jewelry store and helping family.  Here is a new painting from a place I simply love to visit Strasbourg France. A lovely place also known as Le Petite France,  this European town has artists everywhere, painting everything.  Wonderful coffee, food and of course sweets.  The old world atmosphere in this French town bordering Germany, gives me the most relaxing lazy day feel.  The narrow streets with flowers dripping from almost every window enhances the European ambiance. Strasbourg France Revisited

It has been slow going since my trip to Texas 1st of December.  Here is a commission I have completed.  Another painting of the European town Le Petite France. This wonderful narrow street had draping vines along the cafe boulevard, rich atmosphere and Great Food!  More work coming soon!

Early Evening in Martha's Vineyard 28x36

Early evening just sunset in Martha's Vineyard.  I wanted to capture the lovely ginger bread houses, flowers and of course the American flag proudly displayed for the visiting presidents! Evening in Italy

I have been in the mood to do more night scenes.  Love all the primary colors!  These paintings really come alive as the light outside dims, they will light up the room, like the lights are really on in the painting. Italian Seascape

Hi everyone, I am still trying to get everything done, and post regularly.  So many things and only 2 hands! I really enjoyed painting this piece, hope you like it too.

Evening in Bar Harbor

It has been awhile since I have done a night scene, I love working with all the primary colors. This painting was completed with transparent oils, brushes and a palette knife, lots of nice texture. But what is so special is seeing this painting when evening descends, it really comes alive with lights!
