The Journey is my passion. Creating is like breathing, some of us have to do it. Paintings influenced by my love of coastal European ambiance. Bringing my heart to rest where I can hear its song.

Weddings will be coming up for April, May, June, and July, I started a series of Couples, here is the 1st one. You can see the initial quick drawing, then I decided to add a beach and finally the completed work. I had to take this photo in the dark and make a few adjustments because of the shiny wet paint. I will take/post a better photo once dry in natural light. You can see how it was adjusted as I went along. Just Click Pic to Enlarge

The next work I return to Venice.
My fascination with Venice is unending. Again I wanted to experience the
old buildings with so much character, warped wood, peeling facade, old bricks, and majestic doors and windows. It is very interesting to see how Venice was built, I have included some links for those interested.

It is hard to take a photo when a painting is first done. It is so shiny it creates glare.
The first and second pic I have just added the highlights, I am trying out cold wax. I always add the highlights first on this type of painting it keeps all of the colors clear clean and crisp.
I have done so anyway, here is the bartender completed. I will post a better pic when I list it.
