For this painting I choose a quaint European cafe.  I did not like the building in the back ground so I opted for the ocean instead. I intentionally left the large sign blank in the left side of the painting, so it can be personalized.  It can read your family name, and favorite meals. The possibilities are endless.

I love the European Ambiance of the outdoor cafe's, isn't this one wonderful with all the flowers, it captured my eye and imagination, so  fun to paint. Ran across this little place in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. My goal was to capture the light on a sunny day.

VENICIAN HOLIDAY, it is that time to start thinking about this years holiday.  Of course I get to visit
new places daily in my imagination as I dream up new paintings, from some wonderful places I have visited.
Speaking of vacations of course it makes me think of springtime. I have some new work coming around the corner with warm ocean breezes and flowers hanging everywhere. A couple of stunning evening sunsets.  I think you may really like them.

We get enough cold don't we? I am ready for spring and the planting season.  When this hits me, I bring it on early by painting it! Enjoy The Greek Isles.

Well it has been so long since I updated my blog, carried away with the usual. Here we go, I will post some new and belated works. Here are some courtyards, I really enjoyed.

I wanted to work on some abstract paintings, I have decided it is not my forte this painting is as abstract, really more impressionistic, as I want to paint. Hope you like it, an old town in the hills of Tuscany perhaps.
