I am currently working on a commission for a lovely family in Kansas. They wanted to have a painting
created of a very special place. The Castle is called Marienburg Castle and it is in Wurzberg, Germany which is in Northern Bavaria, where her husband proposed to her, how Romantic! Here is the initial drawing.

I will be listing some great paintings on Ebay starting at just a penny!  Wonderful 1 1/2 inch thick canvas's that do not need framing, I am not sure how many I will  list each week, auctions will start the Feb 17th ending on Sunday night.

This day is remembered for giving Thanks, and the wonderful smell of cooking all day in the kitchen, aromas and warmth sifting all over the house. This thanksgiving I give thanks for all of you, my kids, my mom and their family's, my newest grandson Oliver, my Sebastian and my Sister (in-law) who is with me sharing the cooking!!! My son is doing the hams, my brother is deep frying the turkey. This group sharing the cooking is making this thanksgiving oh so special for me.

In the mood for trying somethings new, I have a few of these vintage tins so I decided to paint on them.
Having painted vibrant colors in my paintings for sometime, I will be moving into some earth tones, like the recent Venice work.
