The Journey is my passion. Creating is like breathing, some of us have to do it. Paintings influenced by my love of coastal European ambiance. Bringing my heart to rest where I can hear its song.

This day is remembered for giving Thanks, and the wonderful smell of cooking all day in the kitchen, aromas and warmth sifting all over the house. This thanksgiving I give thanks for all of you, my kids, my mom and their family's, my newest grandson Oliver, my Sebastian and my Sister (in-law) who is with me sharing the cooking!!! My son is doing the hams, my brother is deep frying the turkey. This group sharing the cooking is making this thanksgiving oh so special for me.
Wishing you the happiest thanksgiving filled with love, laughter and special baby hugs!

In the mood for trying somethings new, I have a few of these vintage tins so I decided to paint on them.
Having painted vibrant colors in my paintings for sometime, I will be moving into some earth tones, like the recent Venice work.
I have found some collectors have become very fond of impasto paintings. I have started a version of my own, that I think you will really love. I will post them as soon as I can. So here you go is a vintage tin primitive style with roosters. Available here: Vintage Rooster Tins

Today we visit Venice, with sunlight and shadows. Who doesn't love the Old World Ambiance?

I wanted to share an awesome picture with you. When I first started getting these in my photographs it was a misty evening I thought... its rain. Then I shot them on clear nights. Right away I cleaned my lens, thinking ... dust particles. Even after that I kept getting photos with them. Pretty cool, huh? Oops I just told my age! Do people use cool anymore?
