Here is a close-up of the house.

Now the painting is coming to life with oil paint on the front lawn. This photo was taken while the oil paint was wet, so we have some shine. I will take one outside when completed, the outside natural light works best for photo's of artwork.

Now for the fun, I have been working on the landscaping in front of the house, adding in the flowers & scrubs. We have several important scrubs, flowers, trees and other items to show. A crimson queen, hosta, laurel, wisteria, gazing ball and the bird feeders.

Hi, Welcome back! In this picture I have been working on the Wisteria tree and geranium in the green pots to the right.

Here I have fixed the stairs and added oil paint to the sky and trees. More small adjustments to come.

After blocking in my colors with loose painterly strokes, I am about to finish the under painting, I noticed I need to re-examine the perspective on the stairs.

Home Commission

I was commissioned to do this home, a gift from daughter(s) to mom and dad for an anniversary present. This commission was very specific, it was important to depict not only the home but bird houses, gazing ball and the fountains, plus the iron fencing.
